Three Responses to Newsweek's Article on the Bible

Right before Christmas, Newsweek dropped a particularly horrible article on the Bible which seems to take all of the anti-Bible myths, mix them up in a blender and pour out a heretical smoothie of poor journalism.

Three Four great Christian leaders have written their own excellent responses to this article, so rather than trying to write something myself, I decided to collect these three four responses together for you as they communicate what I also feel much better than I could.

Albert Mohler (President, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary): Newsweek on the Bible — So Misrepresented It’s a Sin Also, Al Mohler appeard on Fox News to discuss the article:

Daniel B. Wallace (Professor, Dallas Theological Seminary): Predictable Christmas fare: Newsweek’s Tirade against the Bible

Michael J. Kruger (President and Samuel C. Patterson Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity at Reformed Theological Seminary, Charlotte, NC): Newsweek Takes a Desperate Swipe at the Integrity of the Bible (Part 1) (Part 2)

Edited to add a 4th:

Justin Taylor (A doctoral candidate at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is publisher for books at Crossway) The many sins of Newsweek’s expose on the Bible
